It was a little cold and a little windy but a whole lot of inspiring to run with a great 7 min pace group at todays Toronto Yonge St 10k (#TYS10K) Tune Up run hosted by the Yonge St Running Room.
A fun event per usual our group got a bit more then they bargained for when us Toronto East enders tried to play follow the leader though some unfamiliar Avenue Road side streets (we got a little lost).
But ultimately we ended up making our own course, a tougher course 😉 that included some pretty impressive hills that our group pushed up and conquered like old pros even though some had never run as far as they had today before.
All in all an amazing day on the street of Toronto with great company as we all get ready to fly down Yonge St in April.
Special thanks to Linda Nguyen who remembered her GPS and saved my butt as “Pacer” but I did remember a camera so together it all worked out in the end I think.
